Itinerary details 

Day 1: Arrival at Marrakech Airport

Arrival at Marrakech and transfer to the Hotel. Possibility to visit part of Marrakech. Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 2: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Skoura – Dades Gorges

Today, we’ll pick you up from your Riad/hotel. We will cross the High Atlas mountain range, admiring its beautiful landscapes and starte our tour in the Dades Valley, we drive to the Kasbah ”Ait Benhaddou”, which is recognized by UNESCO as a world patrimony for having been a setting for many films such as The Mummy and Gladiator. Lawrence of Arabia, Black Hawk Down. We take lunch here before continuing to enjoy the landscapes and historical monuments such as Kasbah ”Taourirt” in Ouarzazate. Afterwards, we will resume the direct travel to the Dades where you can take some nice pictures of the special rock formations which look like monkey hands. In the evening we will arrive to Dades where we spend the night.

Day 3: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga

After breakfast, we continue on the road through Dades Valley and set off towards Todra Gorges. where you will have break to take a short walk in the gorges, and then we will have lunch along the way. Afterwards, we will resume the journey to arrive in time to beautiful dunes of Erg Chebbi, you have time to rest a bit in the lodge where you can put your luggage, perhaps you will be welcome with a glass of tea. The camels takes you to the middle of the dunes and enjoys watching the sunset and get to the camp, A traditional dinner is served with musical entertainment. Then you can dance around the campfire on the drums of the desert drums before spending the night watching the stars and lying on the sand to admire the starry sky. Overnight at camp or settle in your tent.

Day 4: Explore Merzouga Desert

Today, we’ll hop on our 4×4 to discover the desert by browsing the villages and area around the desert city Merzouga, then we head to visit the black people in the village of Khamlia who play the authentic spiritual music, and visit the nomadic families to enjoy mint tea with nomads and see how they live, then how they live in their tents with goats, and working donkeys.
Afterwards, we head to the lake of Merzouga, which appear seasonal, you can take some pictures. After visiting the Berber villages and enjoying the desert scenery, its time to back to desert camp! in the afternoon you will mount your camel, guided by an experienced camel man to explore within the sand-sea of Merzouga, you will see a camel ride to reach the desert camp in the middle of the large sand dunes at sunset. Dinner and night in the desert camp.

Day 5: Merzouga – Erfoud – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifran – Fes

In the morning, we will depart towards the imperial city ”Fez” through the many landscapes of the Atlas Mountains. We will visit the famous Middlet throughout Morocco for its apple here will be lunch. After lunch we will leave for the rice forests of Fez, inhabited by monkeys in winter, Accommodation in the Riad in the Medina.

Day 6: Fes (Visit)

We’ll spend the whole day enjoying the impressive city of Fez with its huge Medina Fes ” el-Bali ” and Fes ” sl Jédid ” together a local guide. Do some bargains in the souk, and enjoy the beautiful decorated fountains of the imperial city. Fez is the oldest and most famous imperial city in Morocco. Will have lunch in the medina and visit the various souks where you can buy a bit ‘ of everything: live animals , flowers, handicrafts , textiles , leather accessories and spices.. Night at the Riad.

Day 7: Fes – Volubilis – Meknes – Rabat

Our first stop of the day is to Volubilis. Its a fascinating archaeological site located just about an hour’s drive away from the city. Volubilis is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved Roman ruins in North Africa. Volubilis was originally founded as a Phoenician settlement in the 3rd century BC but later became a prosperous Roman city around the 1st century AD. Next, we move to the city of Meknes which is famous for Bab Mansour, a huge gate with arches and mosaic tiling and luxurious palaces. Next,  we’ll continue our trip to the Rabat, where we visit the magnificent mausoleum of Mohammed V and Hassan II and enjoy the view of the Tour Hassan and its gardens. Overnight in riad at Rabat.

Day 8: Rabat – Casablanca – Marrakech

In the morning, we’ll leave Rabat and take the highway to Casablanca. It’s a modern city and home of industries and finance business overlooking the Atlantic Ocean it has a large historical and artistic heritage as the rest of the city. Visit the spectacular Mosque of Hassan II situated directly at the ocean, One of the most beautiful mosques in the world. Next,  we’ll continue our tour on highway to Marrakech city. Overnight in riad at Marrakech.

Day 9: Marrakech (Visit)

Today you’ll visit places you have not seen before in Marrakech with a local guide, including Saadian tombs, the beautiful Palace of Bahia and Ben Youssef Coranic School. You can also walk freely in the alleys of the Medina and getting a chance to admire all of the different artisans performing their crafts before arriving at the famous Jemaa El Fna Square, here the various tribes come to sell their wares , traders Berbers bring their produce , the music of snake charmers echoes in the air, women who want to draw your hands with henna , monkeys to photograph, you can also visit Gueliz and Majorelle Garden. Overnight in your Riad/Hotel.

Day 10: Marrakech – Airport

Today, we’ll pick you up from your riad/hotel and moving to the airport.
