Itinerary details 

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel in Casablanca, then We move to Rabat. After Arrive in Rabat, we will visiting the magnificent mausoleum of Mohammed V and Hassan II and enjoy the view of the Tour Hassan, also known as the hassan tower, is an iconic historical landmark located in Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. It is one of the most significant historical monuments in the country and holds great cultural and architectural importance. Next, we’ll go to Meknes, where we take some pics of Bab Mansour. It is one of the most iconic and impressive historical monuments in the country and serves as a symbol of Meknes’ rich history and cultural heritage. Next, we move to visit Volubilis. Its a fascinating archaeological site located just about an hour’s drive away from the city. Volubilis is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved Roman ruins in North Africa. Volubilis was originally founded as a Phoenician settlement in the 3rd century BC but later became a prosperous Roman city around the 1st century AD. Overnight in riad/hotel at Fes.

Day 2: Fes Guided Tour

Fes is a historically rich city in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Start your day early to make the most of your time. After breakfast, you’ll head to the medina, the old walled city of Fes with a local guide, where you will visit several historic places, including Royal Palace, Bab Boujeloud, the iconic blue gate that marks the entrance to the medina. Visit the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque, founded in the 9th century, it’s considered one of the oldest continuously operating universities in the world, then you’ll head to Tanneries, where you can witness the traditional leather tanning process that has been practiced for centuries. The view from the surrounding shops gives a unique perspective. Explore Medersa Bou Inania, its a beautiful theological college with its stunning architecture and intricate tile work. Also Fes is dotted with various souks specializing in different crafts, including ceramics. Head to the Souk el-Henna and Souk el-Attarine to find a wide array of ceramics, ranging from colorful plates, bowls, and vases to intricate tiles and mosaic work. Overnight in Hotel/Riad at Fes.

Day 3: Fes – Ifran – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

In the early morning, we’ll leave for Midelt passing through the Atlas mountains and the cedar forest of the middle Atlas. We visit ski resort of Ifrane, then Azrou as an important handicraft centre. We stay in Midelt for lunch, city famous for its mineral products and apples. Afternoon, we will drive to the magnificent Ziz Gorges, carved with volcanic rocks. Next, we will resume our tour to arrive in time to beautiful dunes of Erg Chebbi, you’ll have time to rest a bit in the lodge where you can put your luggage, perhaps you will be welcome with a glass of tea. The camels takes you to the middle of the dunes and enjoys watching the sunset and get to the camp, A traditional dinner is served with musical entertainment. Then you can dance around the campfire on the drums of the desert drums before spending the night watching the stars and lying on the sand to admire the starry sky. Overnight in the desert camp.

Day 4: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

After the unique experience of the Sahara and the lifetime memorial, today the roads and tracks will take you to follow the trails of the caravans of the old times in direction of the Dades valley and Marrakech, enjoying the landscape, and admiring the power of nature. The visit of Toudra gorges is opposing very strongly, hiking a bit and taking beautiful panoramic photos, the valley and the canyons are breath taking. Later you are driving farther west to the valley of Dades. Overnight in riad at Dades.

Day 5: Dades Gorges – Roses Valley – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, we drive to Marrakech, today we will see a lot of different landscapes on our way. Admire the views of the Valley roses and palm grove along way. We’ll stop at ”Kalaat M’Gouna”, to purchase rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over. Then we continue on the road to Ait Benhaddou kasbah, , which is recognized by UNESCO as a world patrimony for having been a setting for many films such as The Mummy and Gladiator. Lawrence of Arabia, Black Hawk Down. Time for lunch before continue our tour to Marrakech via Tizi n’Tichka 2260m pass. Overnight in riad at Marrakech.
